Posting a job

The form, the milestone plan, what gets signed, and how a post links to a funded deal.

The form#

A title, a description of the work, one to six skills, the payment asset (ETH or USDG), one to six milestones with a title, an amount and a deadline in days, a review window and at least one contact handle. Links are not allowed in the text: they are the classic way to slip a phishing page into a job post.

What you sign#

A plain-text message naming rippo.xyz, the action, your wallet, the sha-256 of the exact post and a one-time nonce. The server rebuilds the same text and checks your signature before it stores anything. A post cannot be published in someone else's name, and the same signature cannot be used twice.

From post to funded deal#

On the job page the client enters the builder's wallet and opens the deal. The deadlines are counted from that moment. After the transaction confirms, one more signature links the post to the deal; the server reads the deal on chain and accepts the link only if the client matches and the terms hash equals the hash of this post.
